To continue improving our extracurricular course offerings, this year we have partnered with Vita Bienestar, a company specialized in high-quality extracurricular programs that promote the comprehensive development of children and youth. Additionally, we will continue with the excellent courses taught by our teachers.

Equestrian classes will follow the Poni Galopes pedagogical model of the Colombian Equestrian Federation. This model classifies riders by level according to age and ability, centering its teaching methodology on play:
• Rider's balance and lateral movement.
• Mounting and dismounting techniques.
• Learning some equestrian terms.
• Rider's position and seat (proper use and effectiveness of aids).
• Practice of exercises in walking and trotting gaits.
• Learning and differentiation of rising trot and sitting trot.

End with a cool down, stretching, and positive feedback for the kids.

Latin and Urban Rhythms

• A space for expression with benefits for the cardiovascular system, flexibility, coordination, and self-confidence.
• A fun activity that supports physical, emotional, and social development.
• Develops dance skills through the practice of different styles like salsa, bachata, merengue, jazz, hip hop, and international rhythms.
• In addition to improving coordination and rhythm, it strengthens confidence, body expression, and teamwork, all while having fun and connecting with culture through music and movement.

Theater

In this space, our students will learn to develop their creativity and artistic expression through theater. Classes combine acting techniques, such as character interpretation and improvisation, fostering confidence, teamwork, and discipline.
They will also improve their language, comprehension, and especially expression. Students expand their vocabulary; improve pronunciation, intonation, and vocalization; and learn to recognize their high, low, strong, and weak voice.

Ceramics

In this activity, children will learn to mold and work with clay, develop fine motor skills, and express their creativity through the design and creation of unique pieces. Additionally, they acquire knowledge of basic ceramics techniques, such as using tools and hand modeling, fostering patience and attention to detail.
Experts in child development research believe early interaction with clay can help enhance key areas of the brain responsible for gross and fine motor skills. Clay is one of nature's gifts to the world, as it allows us to experiment, play, build, and spark our curiosity.

This activity builds self-esteem and creativity and promotes motor and social development. Additionally, children who cook are more open to trying new things and more aware of the nutritional and healthy value of food.

They also develop their creativity through recipe creation, improve their understanding of nutrition, and acquire teamwork and discipline habits in the kitchen. Additionally, they learn the importance of food hygiene and safety.

Jewelry Making

A space for our students to design and create jewelry and accessories using materials like beads, threads, wires, and trinkets. At the same time, they develop manual skills, creativity, and learn basic assembly and design techniques. It also promotes patience, attention to detail, and aesthetic sense.
The act of making bracelets, necklaces, or rings may seem like a simple repetitive movement of the hands. But in reality, it is a complex process that stimulates neural connections by engaging the motor, sensory, visual, auditory, and language areas of the brain.
