Our sixth grade students reflected on perspective, point of view and bias. They also reminisced on a conflict that they were involved in. As a result they created news stories in which they presented the events from multiple perspectives, from the point of view of the journalist, in order to describe them as unbiasedly as possible. Meanwhile they discovered or rediscovered their classmates’, friends’ and kin’s personal thoughts.
