At CIEDI School’s Preschool, early childhood education is an exciting journey where curiosity and exploration come together to build meaningful learning. Our educational approach, framed within the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), stems from the children’s natural inquiry, allowing them to ask questions, explore their interests, and make connections across different areas of knowledge.

In our preschool, play is not just an activity; it is the driving force behind child development. We firmly believe that creative and imaginative play is essential for children to explore new roles, experiment with ideas, and develop social skills.

In an environment that fosters natural curiosity and wonder, our students have the opportunity to blend academic learning with playful exploration, cultivating a lifelong love for learning.

Nature as the Third Teacher

Nature’s Classroom is an approach to nature pedagogy that promotes transdisciplinary teaching in real-world contexts from the early years of preschool. It encourages children to discover the world through all their senses, enhances creative thinking, and invites them to better understand themselves, enabling them to fully realize their potential through exploration and play.

Through outdoor activities such as nature walks, planting, and wildlife observation, students and teachers enrich their educational experience. These moments surrounded by nature not only complement our curriculum but also foster a deep sense of belonging and a strong appreciation for the environment.

Nature’s Classroom and i-STEM ​

Our innovative pedagogy seamlessly integrates i-STEM (arts, science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) and Nature’s Classroom, allowing children to explore artistic creativity while applying scientific and mathematical concepts in practical experiences. Activities include projects such as building shelters for endangered animals and observing natural movements, fostering empowerment through real-world problem-solving.
